Marelda joins me today to share about grief. Grief shows up in different forms, not just when we lose a parent or family member in death. Massage therapy became her part time job and you will learn how massage therapists can sense what is going on in the body when grief is happening. I asked Andrew Kurz to join me today as I know and admire him as a great athlete and runner. He is a teammate of mine in my Wellness business. Andrew shares opening about being a Shaklee kid yet learned in college how Shaklee really could enhance his health. Then once he started running Shaklee sports sports products helped again . Andrew also shares opening about his struggles with mental health issues and I think most importantly how he has sought out support . Running continues to help him as does Shaklee. If you need help, find a support group on line. For Co-Dependancy: https://coda.org/find-a-meeting/- ---------------------------- Like this podcast ? Give it a 5 start review, subscribe and share . Robin Clare joins me today and shares her story of bulimia, suffering and humiliation.
Now in recovery, Robin is living her Soul Mission as a speaker and life/writing coach. As an author , she documented her extraordinary spiritual journey in the acclaimed Messiah within folloed by The Divine Keys, and now Feast & Famine Healing Addiction with Grace.
She shares the healing modality with 4 key concepts from her book Feast & Famine.
When you are free from suffering, you will gratefully do what your Soul wants to accomplish in this lifetime. You will be able to serve yourself and others by doing what you love… your Soul Mission.
Robin shares that writing a book is the ultimate way to express pain, and heal from your history. Because sometimes traditional talk therapy and spiritual counseling is just not enough. The writing process involves expressing your courageous story and sharing your healing process. Robin loves to coach other to write their own book to share their story.
We need to dig deep into our past to heal wounds . If we don't, this can block you from the success of recovery.
This was a great conversation and I was honored to be part of this.

Wednesday Nov 04, 2020
Wednesday Nov 04, 2020
On Wellness Wednesday today I come to you with thoughts on what i've learned since I started wearing aligners to straighten my teeth. It was unexpected and I think you might find it interesting yourself.
Awareness is key . Awareness is the state of being conscious of something. More specifically, is the ability to directly know and perceive, to feel, or to be cognizant of events.
I know you will find value here and also get some ideas for snacks.
The Protein ball recipe that I share is simple and so good.
1 cup protein : Life shake from Shaklee is my favorite
1 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup honey.
Mix together and form into balls.
The Recipe can also be found on my website here.

You are unique and your needs are unique. And am I. That's why our supplement plans should also be unique to us. Shaklee launched a brand new technology last month called Me+ology that is revolutionizing the supplement world.
This is how it works. You share about yourself with Shaklee. During a quick assessment, we ask you about your health goals, diet, and exercise to get a clear picture of who you are and what your body needs. Shaklee then will analyze your responses to create a personalized supplement plan built uniquely for you.
Then your personalized supplements arrive at your door each month in convenient, daily-dose packs. So, all you need to do is grab one and get on with your day.
Here is the link to try your own Me+ology assessment .
I also share with you today about the Shaklee difference and the Landmark Study. You can read more about it here.
There are so many supplement brands out there in a very unregulated industry . Shaklee is beyond organic and you will learn why in this episode .
For more than 20 years I have trusted this brand and recommend you take a look yourself. You too can discover what is possible for you and your health .

For over 6 years my daughter has struggling with anorexia. It has been a terrible struggle for her as well as the impact that it has had on the family.
She has tried many treatment facilitates , most that have helped some yet the cycle of struggle continues. Today I come to you from the parking lot of Ohare Airport as one more time she goes to another treatment place. I share my raw thoughts , the highs and the lows.
As she chooses one more place to help her, I am hopeful yet scared about her recovery.
I have learned to trust in a higher power during these times and surrender to that.
If you have or had someone struggling with ED, I am sure you can relate.
I pray for the day that no one else has to suffer from this terrible disorder.
And if you are a mom or dad in this situation, make sure you are taking care of yourself. Find a therapist, create a morning routine and find time to fill your cup up.

My friend Ruth Day sits down , with Picasso her bird on her shoulder to share about her story of addiction . Many time she walked in to a room wondering which mask to where. And the idea that she might have a drinking problem and might repeat some of her generational patterns was not what she expected.
As the lotus flower is.....having to get through the muck and mud to bloom....Ruth has been through her fair share of the muck and mud.
Ruth is a dear friend who can go deep about all the things and one of them is yoga today. She has taught me so much about what coming to the mat is all about and how it can truly be a healing place. Settle in . We have a nice chat
