Mindset Engineer : Molly Brown:Creating the life that you want by being the person you need to be in order to reach your dreams and goals

June 24, 2022

Molly Brown is a fascinating gal.

As she is now a Mindset Engineer, she shares her journey through bulimia, the army, following the rules, wanting to disappear, finding a community and imagining the person she needed to be to find success. As she read books on personal development and neurology and the mind, she saw that she could design her own mindset following the same system I used as an engineer.

it's fascinating, heart felt and so inspirational. I loved our conversation.

Time to Celebrate:Reflection on my daughter being home and what I’ve learned

Time to Celebrate:Reflection on my daughter being home and what I’ve learned

June 10, 2022

It's been 4 months since our daughter came home from her most recent treatment stay. And many people ask how she is doing!!

She is going great !!!

And some days are hard!

I am taking this episode to celebrate though all the things that we have to celebrate. One of my coaches told me once I don't celebrate the good things enough. So that is what I am doing today.

For 7 years my daughter has struggled and been home many times. And I've learned SO much about when to speak, when to be quiet, boundaries for me and for the family .

I appreciate all of you for following along with this journey . It's been up and down and all around. And today is time to forgot about the bad times, put your troubles down and celebrate !!!

Thanks Madonna for the song

Holiday

May you find time to celebrate the good times today !!

Much love !!

John McLeod: Anything is possible and it’s never too late to change . A spouses view of recovery

John McLeod: Anything is possible and it’s never too late to change . A spouses view of recovery

May 27, 2022

John McLeod is the Husband of a recent guest Nicole McLeod. You can listen to her interview here

Nicole mentioned that John may want to come on and share is side of the story. I was thrilled.

Addictions and disorders not only effect the 'patient'. They impact the whole family. this is a great conversation with John who is honest and open to share his side of things, watching his wife struggle and not be present and find her way to treatment and strong into recovery.

I think you will enjoy this episode and find much wisdom in what you hear.

thank you John.

Moyra’s Musings: About Thoughts, The Scrolls and Energy.

April 29, 2022

Today I share about books I have been reading, Energy work I've been doing and the power of positive thinking and abundance.

The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino a great book. And reading through the scrolls has made a big difference in my thoughts and how I face each day so far. Have you read it?

Then prayer and meditation: So powerful and necessary. I use the Insite Timer for great guided meditations and more.

Then E2 : the Pam Grout book: Fascinating energy experiments that don't have to be difficult. I encourage you to be open to what the universe is sharing with you.

I hope you love this episode as I continue to share my life's journey and the things I am discovering. Would love to hear  from you too and what you are discovering.

The Universe Works in mysterious ways. I saw a post on FB by Blake Freedom about her use of Ketamine to help her with her severe depression. My daughter Anna has used Ketamine in her Treatment at ERC and I truly believe it was instrumental in her mindset shift towards life and recovery.

We had a fascinating discussion where Blake shares about her eating disorder and orthorexia recovery and so much more.

I'm blessed to have connected and I know you will love our conversation.

Anniversary of my mothers passing: Repost of Honoring my mom and what she taught be to value

Anniversary of my mothers passing: Repost of Honoring my mom and what she taught be to value

April 15, 2022

On the one year anniversary of my mother death, I have been sad and reflective on this past year without her.

When she passed, I was encouraged by my husband to speak at her funeral.

I spent the week thinking of what she taught be to value and wanted to record it for then and the future.

This is a repeat of that episode.

When someone passes we can do grieve and yet this spending time reflecting on your life with that person and all that you learned from them is a good thing.

Who has gone before ? What did you learn from them?

I'd love to hear from you.

Enjoy
