Denial is a theme that runs through out Sarah's story. And a theme of not being good enough. This lead Sarah to a life of feeling like she really was not able to do anything good enough.
And she tells us about the great word Flawsome!!!
She shares about how powerless we are when it comes to addictions and eating disorder and the power of 12 step programs. And is truthful and raw and open about her own journey and integrating all what she is discovering. Sarah really shares about all that she is going through and how she does it for herself and shares with her clients.
More about Sarah:
Sarah is a Naturopathic Doctor but does not practice as one. This is because when she began seeing patients, she could intuitively understand why they had the physical ailment that they had and it had nothing to do with what she was conventionally trained to look for. She's had to develop a way to help people, in the way that she is meant to. She became a reiki master, studied with a shaman to better understand her intuition and got a masters of acupuncture to understand the energetics behind it all. But what she's found it all comes down to, is allowing ourselves to actually feel our emotions. The energy of them can get stuck in our tissues and contributes to physical ailments.
Sarah’s passion lies in helping women discover emotional intelligence & befriending the emotions they would rather not feel. She's found through her own journey that when she did this, her relationship with herself changed, and then all of her other relationships changed as well, for the better. She then had the clarity she needed to create a life she loves. She's on a mission to let every woman know that she too has the ability to change her life, through feeling her emotions.

Thrilled to bring Dr Nas and our conversation to you today. A fellow RN discovered during her life journey much of what I have discovered....there has got to be more than traditional medicine and treatment. So much of our wellness is based on our mindfulness and emotions on the inside.
She shared about Resilience and how we can utilize our energy to thrive and how important it is to align with your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual source of energy. You will love what she shares with us.
It's truly an honor to be connected with Dr. Nas and look forward to many more wonderful discussions about how we have the power to choose wellness everyday.
Either one of us would be honored to help you if you are ready for some changes in your health and life.

Welcome to 2021.
I picked this episode for our first one in 2021.
I am blessed to know Louie and feel SO grateful to be able to share this one today.
I have the privilege of knowing Louie Sharp who is one of the most positive people who I know and yet as I heard his story, I wonder how he can be that way. A life of abuse and addictions and such chaos was unbelievable.
Drug, Alcohol, sex, anger, rage and more Louie burned through!!
And yet Louie has spent time healing and getting to a place of loving himself and giving his love to so many others. And he learned the power of forgiveness , learned about generational patterns and embracing meditation in his healing journey.
You will be filled with such hope as you hear his story. We go deep and get vulnerable here. And learn if you are in a struggle of your own, you will find hope in his story and learn about the power of forgiveness and love and resilience and finding value in you and what you have to offer the world.
Louie is a nationally renowned, world class keynote speaker with over 11 years of professional speaking experience. He has been seen on NBC as well as delivering keynote speeches for distinguished companies such as DuPont, Edward Jones, Sage, Fender and Axalta.
He served 20 years in the US Marines. His service included travel to 21 countries guarding American Embassies and flying Huey Helicopters.
He was the Vice President of sales for Sound Enhances a global company.
Add a successful business owner in his own right, Louie has started, bought & sold companies. He started his first company at 23 and 38 years later it is still going strong.
He also donates his time speaking about leadership, self-confidence, and success to the less fortunate and abused. His forthcoming book is called “The Gifted Leader-How to Grow Your Business for More Profit & Freedom!“

Wellness Wednesday: What I've learned as I have begun Ballroom dancing
Wednesday Dec 30, 2020
Wednesday Dec 30, 2020
This past July I stepped into a local Fred Astaire Dance studio to try a free dance lesson. I always have loved music and knew if I had a good lead, I could dance all right. And if you'd followed my story for the past few years, I could use a little and joy in my life.
4 1/2 months later and I am hooked. I am having fun and learning a lot. And it's brought me right up close to my own fears and insecurities about myself.
I learned when I was training for long distance races like marathons, it's really not about the race day. It truly is about who you become along the way.
That is holding true with Ballroom dance as well. And to have someone pour their belief in you and tell you how much potential that you have it quite humbling. And something that albeit not always easy, I have decided to lean in and see where it takes me.
I take the mic and talk about some things that I have learned . I hope you enjoy and would love to hear back from you. And I hope you too find something that brings you joy while it challenges you and helps you become a better version of yourself. Push past that fear and just do it.

Today is Christmas and as I recorded this I was filled with gratitude for the past year and all that it has taught me. Starting this podcast and sharing as a labor of love has truly been a blessing for me. I've learned so much and also been filled with hope for recovery in a world of suffering and struggle. I share a few things that I wanted to reflect on too.
Life can be a struggle but I love the quote from Hemingway that goes like this.
"Life breaks all of us! And some of us are stronger in the broken places. "
May you have a blessed Christmas and end of 2020 and may you find time for reflection and gratitude. May you find hope in amongst all the struggle as I truly believe that your story is to be shared. And your story is the message.

My time with my business and my partnership with Shaklee I have met some awesome people. Chris Bartholomew is no exception. He is currently The Eastern Regional Sales director yet has been involved in our incentive trips quite a bit. And I've noticed that he is an avid runner. Not just a few miles but many miles that he puts in during the weeks.
I am privileged that he sat down with me for a conversation about running and his travels and what running gives to him. And then a neat discover he made about hydration after one hot day.
The thoughts he shares at the end are so good for running and exercise and really life.
1. Make a decision : Just start, once you do the inertia keeps you going.
2. Have Fun!! Love that. We need to do things to bring us joy and fun.
You will also learn in this episode why we both choose Shaklee as our brand of wellness products and why a host of Olympic athletes do as well.
Chris is the most knowledgable about the Shaklee Pure Performance Line and you will learn a lot from him today.
So grateful for this time with Chris. I really enjoyed it and had fun learning more about Chris.

Bethany Hahn, Denise Recker, and Beth Jacobus have a wonderful podcast. I had the pleasure of meeting Denise at a networking event and found our connection to be genuine and our interests to be so closely aligned. Denise introduced me to the mom and daughter duo who are joined with her in this mission and ministry.
These gals host a podcast called Renovating U. It is a podcast that opens up conversation on the structure of our emotional house. They address the components of our toxic mindset that keeps us stuck in destructive cycles and how we can practically learn to build a healthy mindset.
I love any time I have a conversation with Denise and knew this recording would be rich as I invited the other ladies to join in on the conversation.
I have learned in my work that although we don't want to live in the past, being aware of the wounds that were created there and addresses them and the ways to heals past them is key to living a life with strong emotional health and love and grace.
You can find the Renovating U podcast here and more work that they do.
You learn more about the ministry that these women lead and how they are helping so many. I am blessed to know them.
